This competition is held on a annual basis.
Rose was one of the founder members of the Kilmaurs club and gave a lot of her time and effort on behalf of the club during the early years of the start-up period.
Sadly Rose passed away after a short illness.

This years subject is Photographs of Ayrshire. There are Three Sections.
Slides/Projected Images,Colour Prints,Monochrome Prints.
A judge from outside the club will award a Ist, 2nd and 3rd place for each section + an overall winner,who will be awarded the Rose Urie Trophy.
