700 pixels on the longest side at 72ppi. jpeg format with a 3 pixel white stroke line, as the image is placed on a black background.
Club Competition Entries:
For Digital Projected images, the native resolution of the club projector is 1024 pixels x 768 pixels so images can be a maximum of 1024 pixels wide OR 768 pixels high in jpeg format.
Note that portrait format images cannot be 1024 pixels high.
For projection, resolution can be anything you like, but most people save as 72ppi or 96ppi - it makes no difference.
S. P. F. (Scottish Photographic Federation):
Images can be a maximum of 1400 pixels wide and/or 1050 pixels high. Jpeg or Tiff format in SRGB colour profile.
Calendar Images:
3248 pixels Max Width x 2126 pixels at 300dpi. jpeg format.
(300dpi is required for the printing process)
